I've been trying to get the cut/copy/paste buttons to work in firefox. I've altered the prefs.js but cannot seem to get it correct. Does anyone have Firefox configured to use the cut/copy/paste buttons?

RE: Do the cut/copy/paste buttons work in Fir
works for me, but havent investigated why ..
Maybe this could help:

RE: Do the cut/copy/paste buttons work in Fir
No joy. I wanted to make sure that we are talking about the same thing. I am using the icons on the FCKeditor tool bar (scissor, double paper, clipboard icons). The keyboard strokes work, it's the icons on the tool bar that do not.
The prefs.js appear to be exactly as described in the links that were sent. Here is what they look like:
user_pref("capability.policy.allowclipboard.Clipboard.cutcopy", "allAccess");
user_pref("capability.policy.allowclipboard.Clipboard.paste", "allAccess");
user_pref("capability.policy.allowclipboard.sites", "http://www.fckeditor.net");
user_pref("capability.policy.policynames", "allowclipboard");
Many Many thanks in advance for any help!

Oops, fat fingered a line. This line should read like this: user_pref("capability.policy.allowclipboard.sites", "http://www.fckeditor.net");
RE: Do the cut/copy/paste buttons work in Fir
ok... something is strange here, that line did not have a ";" in it when I saved it?! I'll try one more time, then if it doesn't work, just know that there is no semicolon between the apostorphy and the close parenthesis.
user_pref("capability.policy.allowclipboard.sites", "http://www.fckeditor.net");

I don't know if this will clear the waters, or muddy them more? I've also given tinyMCE a try and that editor has a similar configuration element required. But when I add their site the the exact same site's list, that editor allows the cut/copy/paste buttons to work?
If others have this working, it must be something that I am doing wrong?
Platform: Linux (Firefox 1.0.6 and Mozilla 1.7.10)
FCKeditor: the editor enabled on http://www.fckeditor.net/demo/default.html
If someone is able to get the cut/copy/paste buttons to work against this site, would you please be so kind as to post your user.js and prefs.js files?
thanks so much,
