Convert url to hyperlink

Hello,

FCKEditor parse any url to hyperlink. Ok. I need deactivate this behavior.

Can anybody help me with that problem?

You can try going into wikitext mode and putting the url between no wiki tags:

<nowiki>http://mediawiki.org</nowiki>

Hope this helps...it has worked for me.

First of all, thank you very much for answering. Yes, it's a solution. In fact, thanks to your idea, I have discovered that if you write the URL without labels, after clicking the Source's button, does not modify it.

Nevertheless, knowing that the users of the application are wrong in all that they have to make something a bit different, I am going to continue seeing the way of deactivating the automatic conversion.

Hi

I also need to disable the url detection and hyperlink generation,
so that if a user types www.cnn.com it is not converted into href hyperlink.

Did you find a solution?
