Consulting assistance requested
We run a CDL FCKEditor license for our members. We need certain enhancements and are soliciting inquiries to help us. Our customers are non-technical users (I mean, really novice computer users).
We wish to offer numerous “templates” so much so that the “Insert from Templates” function will need to support a directory / sub-directory structure (either a tabbed user interface for template group or a file folder / IE windows explorer paradigm – and we are open to other creative / contemporary implementations and suggestions). The core business need is that we may be offering 100 templates and need a better “file” organization” of said groups.
We have modified the FCK toolbar to ease support requirements, by placing our most frequently requested functions in the corners (so I can say “the “insert table function is the last icon on the top row of the toolbar”) – to help challenged users navigate the toolbar. We want to offer application specific icons on the toolbar as well.
We see a need to help our customers simplify the “insert hyperlink” function, so the “insert hyperlink” function offers a drop down of secondary queries (pages on their own web site for instance).
We also wish to help our customers from uploading HUGE images by regulating the file size in Upload image (to something like 100KB with a link to the forums for more info if the file exceed the allowable file size)
We are running Cold Fusion MX 8 on SQL Server 2005.
Please RSVP to support@tennisconnect.org if you are interested in learning more about this engagement. We will need your rates, terms, and samples of your work to proceed. Geography is not important to us. We are all English only speakers, so proficiency in English is much appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this request.
