Can I use a plugin to export FCK TEXTAREA HTML to a DIV ?

How could I use a plugin button to "export" the FCK TEXTAREA HTML into a DIV? I'm having trouble figuring out what code to put into the plugin that would export the HTML to a DIV with an ID named 'results'.
