Buttons

Is it possible to pull the buttons out of the fckconfig.js file and jam it into the page that builds the editor so I could use server-side code to assign permissions at the button level??

Any option that can be set in the config can be set for each instance.

Mostly....

Remember, this is still just a candidate..
