OK, I'm losing it. I cannot seem to browse for images. All I get is a "/" in the resources browser window. I have tried messing with the PHP connector.php to point to a different directory, but no dice.
Is there something I have not configured correctly?
I am using the editor on a Linux box, I'm testing with Firefox and IE 6.
- I also cannot upload anything.
- I can't see any other folders in the directory.
- I have commented out the other paths to the connectors I don't need.
I'm at a loss, I really don't know what else to look at. HELP!!

RE: Browse for images
RE: Browse for images
Hello guys,
I'm looking for weeks for a solution to browse and upload images with: fckeditor V2.0RC2 used under Mambo 4.5.1a. I have tried all the suggestions made in all forums without success.
My site runs in a subdir of the server and NO I have no /UserImages/ folder in the root of the webserver.
How do I configure the images path? Is that such a sience?
I have seen that there is a reference to the site root and there is a subdir /images/stories .... all have images in.
so URL for the site is:
http://www.ourserver.at/mysitesubdir and there are /images.... which is the mambo default.
I can't create my own subdirs on the server only under /mysitesubdir.
I think I have a connector.php with already the proper setting (the php connector the $mos_livesite which points to the root of MY site etc.) Nobody could help me so far and that really drives me crazy as without images insertion, the editor can't be used even it's very good.
similar issue
All I get is a '/' and no files when invoking the filemanager.
Stangely enough it works fine on my windows box (testing server) but when I try to use it on my production server (linux/apache) i get a '/' and I can't upload files and I don't have permissions to create a folder.
If I knew where the default folder actually was I could set permissions but there is no indication of that anywhere.
Another point is that this is running on a subdomain on the production server. Would that cause any problems?
Cheers.
