So I want to install a different style sheet into FCKEditor. I create the appropriate XML file to install the new classes into the editor, modify fckconfig.js accordingly and it works... if and only if I put a copy of the style sheet into FCKEditor's /css/ folder.
In other words, this works
FCKConfig.EditorAreaCSS = FCKConfig.BasePath + 'css/mystylesheet.css' ;
but neither of these work:
FCKConfig.EditorAreaCSS = FCKConfig.BasePath + 'mystylesheet.css' ;
FCKConfig.EditorAreaCSS = FCKConfig.BasePath + ../mystylesheet.css' ;
Where in the latter two entries I really do have a style sheet sitting in the fckeditor root, and one level above it for both tests.
Is that expected behavior? I have to copy the style sheet into the css folder so the new style previews will display, and the styles will be represented in the editor area? Seems like it should use the real style sheet.

RE: Assigning a different CSS
fckEditor.Config.EditorAreaCSS = '/path/to/my/css/from/domain/root/style.css';
