Align buttons (center, right) don't work/do anything

So, for some reason, the align buttons don't work for me. I click on the center or the right align and nothing. Weird, huh?

Any thoughts as to why this may be occurring?

The same is happening to me...
I thinks it may be for putting fckeditor inside a table, in xoops (in my case)
any news about it?

I'm not sure this answers what's going on. I mean, if I'm in typing a paragraph, and I want to right-align it -- clicking on the right-align button should make it do that, but it's not.

Please advise.
