upgrading ckeditor from 1.74 to 4.0.2... how and what are the changes

using joomla 2.5.9... is ckfinder still available with the new version and do we add that feature the same with the new version of ckeditor? ive already customized my download with new plugins..etc..

before i do anything i just want to make sure since i use this editor on all of my site's...

Do you mean the commercial CKEditor for Joomla package that includes CKFinder? If so, you can get the latest version from here: http://cksource.com/ckeditor-for-joomla

CKFinder works with CKEditor 4 just fine, as can be seen on our demo that already includes it.

Of course, as with all upgrades it is recommended to try on the test environment before you upload the package to your production site.
