Textarea changed to CKEditor but email sent is displayed as HTML

Hello everyone.

I created an email form in php. I changed the textarea to CKeditor, following the guidelines from the CKeditor help file. Once I click submit and receive the email sent, the email is displayed in HTML format displaying all the code... How can I resolve this? The email is displayed in HTML format both in an email client i.e Outlook and online i.e. Hotmail.
