I'm looking for a bit of advice. I'd like to be able to tag user names within the editor. So for example, with Google+ when you type +username in a text box it brings up suggested users and then inserts a link to that user when you click on the one you want.
Is there anyway to monitor key strokes for specific combinations such as + and then a character and how would I then go about displaying a menu of matched user names from data I'm returning from an ajax call?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
