Has there been any testing done with CKEditor and Refreshable braille displays? I was doing accessibility user testing and when my user typed in the RTE, the text started showing up on his display but then went away and he couldn't get it back. This is very important because he uses the feedback on his braille display to verify that he's typed what he intended.

This is a really interesting
This is a really interesting issue, thanks for your tests and feedback!
In general, with regards to accessibility our major focus is on JAWS -- see the official list here. When testing CKEditor we also check VoiceOver, though the latter does not work so great since it lacks full support of the contenteditable attribute. We would thus suggest any tests of the refreshable Braille display should be conducted with JAWS + a compatible RBD device. This setup *should* work, though we haven't tested it yet due to the lack of a physical RBD device.
It would be great if you could provide more detailed information about the exact setup that you are using, this should be helpful. We'll see what we can do about this issue.
