Hi - I'm working on a translation project and using CKEditor for the content editor. I need to know if the current (and perhaps past versions) of CKEditor support double-byte languages.
If so, could you please provide reference or documentation proving it? I'd really appreciate it!

Not sure what you mean by
CKEditor will certainly let you submit them since it supports UTF-8, but if your site can't render text like 汉语 (posted via CKEditor, btw), it won't appear. CKEditor merely replaces your textarea and simplifies the generation of HTML content. You can see CKEditor localization here.
EDIT: Btw, you say you're a translator. CKEditor is always looking for translators. Feel free to join the project here...
