Plain text to hyperlink

I'd like CK to wrap plain text like "http://.." into a real html hyperlink <a href="http://...">http://...</a>

I believe CK should be able to do that.

Please advice.

Anyway. A feature request has been posted. IE does it automatically. IE8 doesn't even let you disable it, so it's complicating things. There's ways around it, like using a paste event. I do believe someone was on to it in this comment.
