Merge fields

Hello,

I want to design the HTML and insert the 'merge fields'.  The merge fields will be replaced by a dynamic value from the database at run time. In the MSWord, you can create merge fields, and then save the document.  The document is then later used and substituted with the actual database values. 

Is this possible here?
