Hi,
Is anyone using the content management system (CMS) called MODX, but using CKEditor instead of the default? (I think the default is TinyMCE.)
MODX has 2 different CMS packages: "Evolution" and "Revolution." Since it is open source and community supported, all I can do is to ask someone there to make a Plug-in that allows CKEditor to be used. So far, FCKEditor was used in the past, and v.3.x of CKEditor was available as a Plug-in too... but no one has spent the time to get CKEditor v.4.x working.
If the answer is "NO!", then my next question would be which other CMS packages use CKEDitor? I'm not interested in Joomla or Wordpress (they drive web developers crazy - you must use their code or die trying to modify it.)
Thanks in advance for any help!
Dennis
p.s. If you want to see why I am interested in MODX as a content management system, take a look. There are a lot of cool features, and it allows web developers to be web developers. modx (dot)com
Drupal 8
A few that come to mind. Not sure if there's a v4 plugin for MODX. There's this one but I don't know what version it supports.
