If you're using the asp.net control from v3, inline editing mode won't work. Normally it shouldn't be too different than installing it in any other platform. Did you check the documentation? From what I've been told some things can get messed up when data is sent to the server then back to the editor, because the code is changed to ascii, but other than that it should be straightforward stuff.
