How to upgrade from v3.6.5 to v4.3

Is there an easy way to update from v3.6.5 to v4.3? Is there some script we can follow?

I have a lot of custom made plugins.

You should backup your

You should backup your customizations and do an overwrite. CKE3 and CKE4 are structurally similar but custom plugins might not work. You'd have to adapt them. Here you can see the changes in the API.

Would like to take advantage of the 4.3 features,

I have no customized plugins so far.

Did upgrading to 4.3 work for you? Sounds like we have similar issues with ASP.NET and IE11
