How to open files (not image file) for editing?

I plan to use ckeditor to edit different files in my web server.  Therefore, I need to browse/open/save file functions with ckeditor.  I have integrated roxyfileman with ckeditor but I can use it for image file only.   Can someone please show me how to do it?
