HTML entities in custom dropdown

Hi

 We are using custom dropdown plugin with HTML entities in dropdown values,
 e.g. "<<H1\Field1>>". But when we select the corresponding
 field in dropdown, we get the javascript error "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot
 call method 'hasClass' of null".

 We are adding the dropdown element as ["<<H1\Field1>>", "Field1", "Field1"]

 We are using free version of CKEditor 4.1.

 Please help.
