Full Featured Editor Not working in IE 10 or IE 11

I recently  have upgraded to CKEditor 4.3.1 the full version, the editor works fine in Firefox but in IE 10 or 11, I get javascript errors saying "{exception}    Unable to get property 'ltr' of undefined or null reference" which I tracked down to the Bidi (text direction) plugin.  went back and removed just that plugin from a custom build and then reinstalled and got the same error but this time it was for the Text color plugin.  I don't know how many more plugins I have to remove to get it workin in IE, but I would rather have access to all of the plugins, so I am looking for a fix that doesn't require me to go down to the basic editor.  BTW, the basic editor works fine in both Firefox and IE which reinforces my beliefe that certain plugins are just a problem with IE.
