Formating a bit clunky?

Hi,

I'm wondering why CKEditor does apply the formating to a whole paragraph and not just the selected bit. Can I configure that?

What browsers are supported?

Also, if I want to use it in an open source project which is partly commercial (having some paid extensions), which version can I use?

You can format part of paragraph

If I select a few words in a paragraph and apply bold or change size etc, it only applies to these words.

So it must be your configeration that is different.

I just used the demo. If I select a word and apply italic e.g. the whole paragraph changes also if I choose a formating like heading 1.

bolt etc works.

For heading 1 you need make a new line.

If you want to imitate a heading 1, the solution is to play with the font size of the words etc.

With italic the demo work ok on selecting one word for me.
