I am just revisiting a problem we have had for a long time.
We have a menu bar configured in inline editing, here's the code from config.js
config.toolbarGroups = [
{ name: 'clipboard', groups: [ 'clipboard', 'undo' ] },
{ name: 'editing', groups: [ 'find', 'selection', 'spellchecker' ] },
{ name: 'links' },
{ name: 'insert' },
{ name: 'forms' },
{ name: 'tools' },
{ name: 'document', groups: [ 'mode', 'document', 'doctools' ] },
{ name: 'others' },
{ name: 'basicstyles', groups: [ 'basicstyles', 'cleanup' ] },
'/',
{ name: 'paragraph', groups: [ 'list', 'indent', 'blocks', 'align' ] },
{ name: 'styles' },
{ name: 'colors' },
{ name: 'about' }
];
This is adjusted with
config.removeButtons = 'Anchor,About';
All I want is an edit source button in there somewhere. I have been through the documentation and tried everything I've found. Specifying groups seems to be haphazard and I can't find a reference of for them anywhere. If I use the old way of specifying individual buttons the skin stops working. The only way I have added a source button is to copy the example of a full toolbar which has too much on it.
So, I no longer need to understand this just add a source button to the config above. Can anybody help with a bit of code.
Thanks

Have you tried adding this to your config.js :

I have tried adding config.extraPlugins = 'sourcedialog'; and all that happens is the toolbar doesn't display at all.

sourcedialog is definately missing from the plugins directory.

For anybody else having this problem, even if you download the full version there are still a lot of things missing you have to go to plugins to download. Downloaded the latest CKeditor full version, still no sourcedialog, found the sourcedialog button in the plugins, I think I expected it to be standard.
Before uploading the latest version I'm going to check we haven't got any plugins we already use missing and test it so I'll update when it's done.
Sourcedialog is the proper
Sourcedialog is the proper way of adding a source button to inline editing, and no, it's not in any of the packages by default. You have to manually add it. Full version doesn't include everything. Full is basically the old CKEditor 3 toolbar.

However, found the sourcedialog plugin, uploaded it to our server and added
config.extraPlugins = 'sourcedialog';
to config.js.
Thanks for the assistance.
