Hello. We send out emails from our server and the urls in the messages are modified so they become inoperative. Somehow a `/"` is added to the beginning and a `\` at the end
If we do not use the LINK function in CKE, then the text will arrive transformed into a link and function.
Any suggestions? Is it our php code doing this? In Gmail, the blue underlined urls are null... Gmail sees them as normal text.

Attached are the 2 php files used that result in the slashes being attached to the hyperlinks when emailed. If the url is placed without using the Links function from menu (as plain text), then it shows up as a working hyperlink in the recipients email.
If you need other files from the server, please advise.
CKEditor 3.6.2 (revision 7275) installed on a Hostgator server.
