uploading feedback

hi folks

i'm a relatively new user of CK, but have been using FCK for a long time.

one of the small things i am seeing, is that when uploading a file, whereas in FCK - i used to see a kind of "loading" bar while the file was in transit - not i see nothing. i know its uploading, because i can see the firefox circle turning, but my users are that techy, and the feedback thing might be an issue. they might be thinking "which isnt this working?" - where it actually is.
also - after a successful upload, one used to get an alert, not it just goes to the main tab.

can something be done about this?

What's your CKEditor version and which file browser/ uploader do you use? What is your environment? These are all crucial information that are needed in order to determine what you are using and where your problem comes from...

thanks for the reply.

According to ckeditor.js, i am using:
version:'3.6.2', revision:'7275'

I generally use Firefox, currently version 8.

Using the ASP uploader.

In standalone mode and FCK you can see a progress bar because it's part of the interface. In CKEditor it depends on your browser. As far as I know earlier versions of Firefox show a progress bar, but Firefox 10 doesn't.

It probably will be added to CKEditor 4 and the new CKFinder coming out in a few months, but just in case I'll remind them about it.

hi folks

I just downloaded the most up to date version, and i see this issue still exists:

when you upload via the "upload" tab under Images - the upload works perfectly, but you (the user) has no clue that its actually working, other than seeing the firfox "loading" icon in the tab on top.

is there a plan to fix this?
