server side dialog

Hi,

I've been using fckeditor for some time now and I am very happy with it. In order to integrate it in my website, I changed the dialog for links en images to php files to use data from the MySQL database.

I get the impression that ckeditor has no server side. Am I right? Is there a kind of standard AJAX request available to get the information from the database to a dialogbox in the editor?
