saving my web page after edit...

Hi. I wish there was someone to give precise example as how to save web page after editing. As of now, I edit the page just fine and then when I click on "save" or "submit" the page only refreshes to original and doesn't save. I thought that this was the main idea behind CKEditor...to save your edited webpage and/or to give others that possibility. All it works now as is a demo mode and I need some functionality out of this.
