removing the space between paragraphs

Hi
When i enter two lines then there is a lot of space betwwen two paragraphs.how do remove that space.
i mean when i press enter then then there should be no br element.

please help

I had something like that before
My advice to copy all the text and paste it in notepad and fix the spaces then copy it again from notepad and paste it to the Editor.
