re-usable and documented ajax framework

An ajax framework within FCKeditor that is easy to use for plugin developers.
(I had to develop my own for my ajaxPost plugin)

Could be accomplished by making it possible to use 'Javascript frameworks within FCKeditor'.

We already have something like that with the current implementation: FCKXml. It is targeted to XML data though, so it is certainly ready for enhancements.

What are your suggestions for it?

Hmmm, as I don't know what functionality it provides I can't say what I'd like to see more.
Perhaps documenting the FCKXml is enough?

Or look at the AJAX methods of javascript frameworks out there, maybe that brings some idea. (If I can get an idea of what the FCKXml I could do this comparison)
