problems adding a link online, but not offline

hi, when i try to add a link with the ckeditor my links becomse like this:

mydomainname\"the_real_url\"

but when i work offline , on my XAMPP server everything works fine, i have no idea how to fix this and why this problem occurs.

i havent really done anything. I just downloaded the ckeditor folder and first uploaded it on my XAMPP server to work offline, and test it there. And then i just changed the style , and limited the buttons on the editor. Still it works great offline, but when i upload the editor to my website online, it just keeps adding

mydomainname\"the_real_url\" to ALL my urls..

but when i try to link using ckeditor, i get this as target url:

http://www.xgs-gaming.com/\"http://round1ko.com/forum/showthread.php?t=497&page=4\"

does anyone know why this is? this does not happen when i work offline on my xammp server.. this is so frustrating, and i dont know how to fix it

Look at the source, the attribute is being sent to the browser with escaped quotes, so that's a problem with the configuration of PHP in that server. (I think that there are functions like stripslashes that you should use before saving to the database, as you might be double escaping them)

but now another worse problem arrised, everytime a <p> is input, i get "rn" out...

look at this post:

worked better with stripslashes after saving to the database, when viewing on the browser. thanks!
