I am testing different options to get paste from word working and maintaining styles and had a question about this option.
In the docs, it defines the pasteFromWordRemoveStyles function like this:
Whether to remove element styles that can't be managed with the editor. Note that this doesn't handle the font specific styles, which depends on the CKEDITOR.config.pasteFromWordRemoveFontStyles setting instead.
I'm a little confused though. I have "pasteFromWordRemoveFontStyles" set to false already and when I paste from Word, I don't get the word highlighting to come over or the paragraph background color to come over.
What I am confused by though is both of those things things are really the same thing as the background color button on the editor. So, the editor can clearly manage the style. So why do I have to turn on this extra option to get both of those items?
I also see that it does this for indented text even though the editor has an indent feature.
When I turn on that extra option, I do get these extra styles. The SOURCE that is generated is similar to what the background color button does. The indentation is a little different source though.
Am I missing something?
Thanks.
