mass tablecell formatting

In a table, is there a way to change the properties of all the cells at once? For example, if the customer wants to set vertical alignment to bottom, can we do this without touching EVERY cell?

Also, I know we can set it up with CSS, but I'm trying to avoid confusing the customer with the ins and outs of HTML classes and ids.

Yes, you can simply select all (or any number of) cells with your mouse and choose the Cell -> Cell Properties option from the context menu. The changes introduced in the dialog window will be applied for all selected cells.
