cursor position

Hi,

does anyone know how to calculate/get the cursor (x,y, etc) position inside the ckeditor? if so, please share.

I've looked through the editor's API doc for a property that would give out the cursor position (ex: editor.getCursorPos()), but didn't find anything.

My understanding is that you can only get the x and y coordinates from mouse events, not the cursor position. However, you can get the DOM location of the cursor.

editor.getSelection() will get you the cursor position in the DOM.
