I have installed the WYSIWYG module on a clean new Drupal 7 site (the only one I have since I am new to this), and enabled it under Modules>user interface. Under operations>configure I have CKEditor 3.5.3.6655 shown for filtered HTML. When I edit that it shows enabled by default, and CKEditor is shown as installed (pale aqua bar and version showing under installation instructions.
For editing and new content however I no longer have any editable body area. I just have the word Body, then blank area the correct size for where the Body box normally is, and then the rest of the page as normal - Disable rich text, Text format is Filtered HTML, Image etc. So what did I miss out?
I also installed tinymce editor and that works fie, and the editable text box returns if I disable WYSIWYG. I would prefer CKeditor if possible, so can anyone point to where I missed something?
Thanks
Steve

Hi all,
Hi all,
I have had the same problem. It seems that the latest version of ckeditor has some bugs. What I did to make it work was copying the complete ckeditor drupal and full module package from a different drupal website, installed a couple months before. This worked for me. Drop me a line if you wish to get the working package.
Best,
Pete
