Could someone please explain why code the works perfectly fine in Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc, fails to function in IE. Even the latest version IE9 has problems with the same code. I can create a sample page to demo, but before I do this and continue my fustrations, it doesn't change the fact that the SAME code would work great in anything non IE!!!
I've been googling and experimenting for weeks, but nothing seems to fix the problem. Certain sequences of getData and setData calls give me javascript errors. I'm using the latest ckeditor code.
Has one experienced strange problems with IE? I can't believe I've broken new ground here.
If you have, what's the secret to make things work in IE?
Thanks for your time.
Tony

Re: Totally Frustrated!!! Could someone please explain
My issue is really with the developers of CKEditor. I direct this question to them.
In your development, did you ever test your code in IE and perhaps adjust for the short comings of IE?
My javascript isn't all the complicated to cause the errors. Was any effort ever made to fix CKEditor and make it work properly in IE?
Thx again.
Tony

I would be happy to mock up a test page for your review. Give me a week or so as I'm currently involved in another project.
Thx
