CKEditor 3.x works fine on my computer.
BUT, on my colleague's computer the Editor seems to load correctly with all the buttons visible, but you can't type anything. We click and type, but nothing. Also, when content is called from the database, the text area appears as empty on his computer. So, the text area doesn't seem to load at all on his computer.
We also tested using the DEMO on the CKEditor website (http://ckeditor.com/demo) and had the same problem. I know "Little Red Riding Hood" should be there, but on his computer (XP, IE 7), that text box is empty and inactive. So, all the editor buttons DO appear. It's just the text box that's not loading content and not allowing him to type anything.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Kevin

Re: TEXT AREA empty...even on DEMO
The problem is exactly as you've suspected, the unloaded image has hang up the editing area, we've already have this issue tracked:
