Hello,
When clicking the spellcheck button, we get -
This page cannot be displayed
The window was not opened from another window.
This only occurs in IE9 - other browsers work fine (including IE8). Going through the aspell code, it appears that opener is not defined. Check out the function postWords() in spellchecker.html.
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Spellchecker Fails in IE9
plugins/aspell/spellerpages/spellchecker.html. Switching references to "opener" (apparently undefined in IE9) to instead call openerWindow() (see below) fixed our problem.

Edit: oops, sorry to wake up an old thread, but the original solution didn't work for me... Hope this will help someone.
Re: Spellchecker Fails in IE9
iframe support
I've got this working with the code listed above, even works with multilingual implementation, but I am having an issue with the same error appearing when the ckeditor is loading in a page that is an iframe inside another parent frame.
Sometimes those parent frames are under my control and sometimes they are not.
openerWindow function as in reply #5 does not work, returns undefined when the editor is in a frame that's loaded inside another page.
