We use the CKEditor 3.2.0 actual in our webapp.
There is a problem with a firewall because of this:
window.netscape.security.PrivilegeManager.enablePrivilege('UniversalXPConnect')
So the page is blocked.
For what are these rights needed?
Seems to me as if it is needed for copy and paste functionality. as this is the codepart of ckeditor.js:
function () {
window.netscape.security.PrivilegeManager.enablePrivilege('UniversalXPConnect');
var q = window.Components.classes['@mozilla.org/widget/clipboard;1'].getService(window.Components.interfaces.nsIClipboard),
r = window.Components.classes['@mozilla.org/widget/transferable;1'].createInstance(window.Components.interfaces.nsITransferable);
r.addDataFlavor('text/unicode');
q.getData(r, q.kGlobalClipboard);
var s = {},
t = {},
u;
r.getTransferData('text/unicode', s, t);
s = s.value.QueryInterface(window.Components.interfaces.nsISupportsString);
u = s.data.substring(0, t.value / 2);
return u;
});
Can CKEditor work without the feature that needs it?
Is it necessary to sign the script?
Thanks for help!
