Remember find and replace dialog preferences

Is it possible to save "find and replace" preferences (like: "Match case", "Match whole word", "Match cyclic") ?
Every time the dialog is closed, preferences are reset to default....
Is there an easy way to remember user preferences? (possibly not only limited to find and replace dialog)
