I've place the unzipped CKEditor in the root/ckeditor folder on my website and I've placed the complete sample found at the link below in a file called "thing.htm" also in the root.
http://docs.cksource.com/CKEditor_3.x/D ... ntegration
All I get is the error "'CKEDITOR' is undefined" and the textarea remains unchanced. What have I done wrong?
The page in question is here: http://www.muirfieldgreen.com/thing.htm

Re: 'CKEDITOR' is undefined
IISPassword
The page cannot be displayed
Was that a clue? If so, I'm not getting it... sorry!

Re: 'CKEDITOR' is undefined
There was an htaccess file in the ckeditor folder - deleted that and now it works.
Actually, it was included in the zip file download. Should it really be included?
Re: RESOLVED - 'CKEDITOR' is undefined
You can read the contents of that .htaccess file, it's mean to adjust some settings that are wrong in some servers, so if you don't need them then you can safely take it away. (note also that the .htaccess is meant for Apache servers, and the message stated IIS, so I think that some software was reading it incorrectly)
