Hello!
I have a problem creating links within table cells (CK Editor 3.6.2):
If I have more than a single word in a table cell and select one of these words (not the first one!) and then click the icon to convert the selected text into a link, the Editor looses the selection and instead of converting the text into a link it adds a new linktext (the url) in front of the selection.
If there is only one word in the cell or I select the first word, everthing is well.
Any ideas/suggestions for me?
thx
Karina

Re: Problem converting selected text into links in table cel
the error occurs in a new function in Version 3.62:
File:
/_source/plugins/selection/plugin.js
row: 1160
wrong:
if ( root = ancestor.getAscendant( t, 1 ) )
corrected:
if ( root == ancestor.getAscendant( t, 1 ) )
Re: Problem converting selected text into links in table cel
It's not the most common way to do it but it's quite usual: the result of is asigned to and then the if checks if root is "true" (a valid node)
root isn't initialized previously so if you change the assignment to an equality check the later will always be false.
So your investigations are useful, but the proposed change might have unexpected consecuences. Any way: please, create a ticket explaining your problem and your comment as it can help to find the best solution.
