Possible to build custom uploader?

Hi Guys,

Just a curious question, is it possible to use CK Editor and build a custom uploader in to it, or am I bolted to using the one provided?

If I hire a developer for this task how complicated do you imagine it to be.

Yes, you can use your own script as explained in the docs.
And usually, hiring someone to create a new one will be more expensive than using the existing options
