So we have an issue where some users have MS Word 2010, and others have lower versions (2007, etc).
It seems those people with the 2010 version lose more formatting than those who have older versions.
For instance, if they copy a paragraph from Word, and past it into CKEditor (using either the Paste Word feature or not) they'll lose bold formatted text. This is just an example - the editor also won't maintain the font or text size when put in the editor either.
The only semi - workaround we have so far the people using the 2010 version save their document to a lower version, and then paste it in.
Is this a known issue, or is there some option I missed in the documentation to help correct this?
thanks

Re: Pasting from MS Word
Could you report this issue on our Development site, as described here, and attach some sample files that do not behave as expected (as well as their equivalents that work OK)? This will let us inverstigate the problem you are having -- basic styles like bold should definitely be preserved in any MS Word version.
