More then 1 toolbar assigned to a single editor instance

a custom toolbar that is positioned to the left of the text area.

the other just a basic toolbar on top of the text area.

We actually provide one toolbar to multiple editors (shared toolbar) while there's no support for the vice versa, you'll need a self-implementation on it.
