I'm a new user of CKEditor and looking to use it in a new web app. What I have not been able to find in the documentation or forums is a definitive description of the minimum file set needed for a production install.
I do not want to have to deploy to the server any more files than are necessary - for example I don't want the "samples" on my production server. Is it safe to assume that I can simply eliminate the folders _source, _samples, and _tests from my production server and everything else is needed? What about the files in the top level folder other than ckeditor.js and config.js? Are there other files that can be dropped and/or how do I determine what to keep/drop based on the functions I want/need to use?
Thanks,
Bob

Re: Minimum file set for production install
here is list of requireed files and folders:
you can remove all files from 'lang/' except en.js

Re: Minimum file set for production install
That was pretty much what I figured.
Are the /images and /themes folders not required either? There's not much in either so it's not exactly a big deal either way.
Are plugins loaded if they are not used or is the editor smart enough to only load the code for what is actually used - or at least what is 'configured' for a given editor instance?
Thanks,
Bob
Re: Minimum file set for production install
I didn't seen that editor loads anything from directories /images and /themes yet.

Thanks - That's good to know.
