Mask email addresses?

Well, when the textarea is submitted, I would imagine you would have to edit the email addresses manually. Run a Regular Expression looking for email addresses and then mask them accordingly. Maybe replace the @ with a different symbol or an image tag (if you're going to display it as html).

I haven't read anything about that sort of functionality being built into CKEditor.

I've got the same problem. I remember, when using the old FCKeditor 2.6.3, there was a function called EMailProtection, which turned E-Mail Adresses into a nice JavaScript-Code. What happened to that function in CKEditor 3?
