In the UK, in order to meet the many government guidelines for accessible websites, we are required to ensure that every image has an ALT tag. Is it possible to add something like this in with the option to enable or disable it in fckconfig.js?
This is what I am currently using for this:
inserted at line 212 of the ok() function within fck_image.js
I also added the message line to entries in the lang folder as well - i.e.
It works well but its a bit of a pain to have to reintegrate it every time I upgrade.
One other non-related question while I am here:
Would it be possible to separate the target of anchors from normal links and add another option into the config?
At the moment we have FCKConfig.DefaultLinkTarget = '<my target>' ; where <my target> is by default an empty string
If I set <my target> to something such as '_blank' then the links do exactly what I want them to, but every anchor opens in a new window as well which is not really desirable.
Might I suggest something like this in the config:
FCKConfig.DefaultLinkTarget = '_blank' ;
FCKConfig.DefaultAnchorTarget = '' ;
Cheers
Mike.
This is what I am currently using for this:
if ( GetE('txtAlt').value.length == 0 ) { dialog.SetSelectedTab( 'Info' ) ; GetE('txtAlt').focus() ; alert( FCKLang.DlgImgAlertAlt ) ; return false ; }

I also added the message line to entries in the lang folder as well - i.e.
DlgImgAlertAlt : "Please enter a brief description of the image"
It works well but its a bit of a pain to have to reintegrate it every time I upgrade.
