Can you add style/class edition to list properties?

Did you find an answer to this? I have a similar question.

I simply want to add a class name automatically to the UL tag, but I can't seem to be able to do the following within the fckstyles.xml document:

<Style name="Footnotes" element="ul">
   <Attribute name="class" value="footnote" />
</Style>

Any help?

Is this stuill a bug in 3.0 or was that just in 2.5 (I'm about to try it in the latest 2.5, checking the definition of StyleObjectElements it lists ul and ol, so looks as thought it should/could work)
