I'm trying to switch an existing Dojo app over to ckeditor.
The problem I'm running into is getting ckeditor to cooperate with the build. We are using a xdomain Dojo build. I haven't yet been able to get ckeditor to load properly when packaged by Dojo (xdomain or otherwise).
I basically took the files in ckeditor.pack and added them to a dojo layer (which just packages them together in a file, like ckeditor pack does). When I attempted to load this file, it complained it couldn't find CKEDITOR.loader, so I added /_source/loader.js to the build. Now it is complaining that CKEDITOR.on is not a function.
I see CKEDITOR.event.on is function defined in event.js, but that file is already being loaded.
Any ideas?

Why is that? Any hints on where/why that's happening? How can I/where should I look to prevent that?

I've got ckeditor working for normal loading, but getting it to work in the dojo cross domain package means all the ckeditor files need to be bundled together and deployed inside an anonymous object scope.
Is that something that is feasible? What would be required?
We are interested in using ckeditor in this project, but this has been a roadblock.

If you still have to merge everything together then you should work with the release files, not _source.

Does ckeditor have a way around that?

You just have to try to use it and you'll see that the CDN support is built in, it will work out of the box if you take one of the sample pages and change the path of ckeditor.js so it points to another server.
So instead of "If one were to just try",just "Try", don't think that because other editors lack this feature also CKEditor have a problem.
