Insert text button

Mjello there,
I was wondering how to make a button where when you click on it, it insert a simple string of text where the cursor is.
E.g. you press the button "Test" and it insert the text "This is just a test"..

It shouldn't be that hard, but I cant get it to work, anyone able to help me out here?

Look at the API sample to get the syntax for the command and if you want to place it in the toolbar you must crete a plugin for that. Look also at the API_dialog sample to get some basic syntax and look at other plugins or search the forum.

It's actually funny, it is already in the samples: "api.html". A little funny I didn't see at first ^^
